Maria Eugenia Lorenzo
Maria Eugenia Lorenzo has been an instructor at South Florida Ballet for the past seven years. We are very fortunate to have such an accomplished dancer and instructor on our facility. She received her formal training at the School of Arts in Santiago de Cuba, the Regional School of the Arts in Camaguey, the National School of the Arts in Havana and the University of Havana. Her professional career was crowned as a dancer with the prestigious Ballet Nacional de Cuba under the direction of Alicia Alonso. We are proud to say she will also continue as instructor for South Florida Ballet. |

Anna Rios
Anna Rios began ballet training at six years of age at the Dorothy Hamilton School of Dance in Phoenix, Arizona. Later, her dance education expanded to
include jazz, modern, Latin, folkloric and flamenco. She started her professional dance career as a member of Ballet Azteca and went on to perform with the Lydia Torea Artes Bellas and the Laura Moya Spanish Dance Company. During the past fifteen years, Anna has focused on exploring and promoting flamenco dance. She has studied with world renowned flamenco masters and spent seven years as a featured soloist in the flamenco floor shows at Pep�n Restaurant Espa�ol in Scottsdale, Arizona. This is her fourth year teaching at South Florida Ballet and she is very excited about the enthusiasm the students have shown toward learning Spanish dance. |

Kelly Ginnity
Kelly began dancing at age three at the Wyckoff School of Dance, under the direction of Diane Dana. Over the years Kelly has trained in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical and modern with such greats as Frank Hatchett, former Rockette Jean Martin, and Boris Levin of the Bolshoi Ballet. In high school, Kelly was accepted to dance with Hoctor’s Dance Caravan as a Caravan Kid, and had the privileged of traveling the country with a professional company. This year, Kelly’s students were awarded top honors at the New York City Dance Alliance, and were invited to dance at Baptist Hospital’s Relay for Life and a recent Florida Marlins game. Kelly received her Master’s of Science in Education in Clinical Exercise Physiology at the University of Miami and works as a research associate at the Miami Project to Cure Paralysis. |

Katarina Vo
Katarina Vo has been training with Jennifer Rose at South Florida Ballet for over twelve years. She has had other accomplished teachers impart their knowledge of ballet at South Florida Ballet, such as Maria Eugenia Lorenzo from Ballet Nacional de Cuba, as well as Riolama Lorenzo from the Pennsylvania Ballet. She has also been teacher’s apprentice with Jennifer and Maria Eugenia for two years and has assisted the New York City Dance alliance as a teacher assistant in order to pursue excellence in teaching. Kati currently attends Florida International University. She was previously active in many Miami Children’s Theater shows where she received vocal training with Damaris Canales- Lopez. She was also a member of their Showstoppers performance troupe and performed in venues throughout the city. Kati joined the faculty of South Florida Ballet this year where she is seriously dedicated to the growth of her students. She will be teaching during the summer camp this year and looks forward to working with students in dance as well as in the theater arts.

Bianca Mestre
Born and raised in Miami, Bianca Mestre began her dance in training in 1997 at South Florida Ballet with Jennifer Rose. She trained in various styles such as classical, ballet, tap, jazz and modern. Bianca is a proud graduate and dance major of New World School of the Arts Miami and currently attends Florida International University, studying Early Childhood Behavior Science and Education. She was an existing member of contemporary dance company E.magine Dance Ensemble and enjoyed exploring different styles of modern dance. She presently teaches contemporary dance, ballet, tap and jazz at SFB and is excited about introducing new dance styles to her inspiring and dedicated students. |

Jessica Drago
Jessica Mylene Drago began her young classical ballet training in Miami. She soon received scholarships to the schools of the Boston Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, Milwaukee Ballet, and Houston Ballet. Soon she was asked to join the Atlanta Ballet by its Artistic Director, Robert Barnett. She captured the hearts of audiences dancing the principle role in many ballets including Balanchine’s “Serenade”, “Four Temperaments”, “Square Dance” and “Allegro Brilliante”. She delighted audiences with her portrayal of the much-coveted “Giselle”. She was selected to dance the lead by Fernand Nault in his internationally acclaimed “Carmina Burana” as Intritina, and Kirk Peterson’s “Belling the Slayer” as the Young Maiden. Other principle roles include Eliot Feld’s “Intermezzo”, Caroline in Anthony Tudor’s “Lilac Garden” and original choreography by David Parsons and Lisa DeRiber. During her 7 years with the Atlanta Ballet, she was asked by Cleveland Ballet’s Dennis Nahat to perform in his “Quick Silver”, “Ode to Joy”, “Copellia”, “Swan Lake” and “A Midsummer’s Night Dream”. Before leaving the Atlanta Ballet, she danced in the 1996 Atlanta Olympics as part of the “Arts Olympiad”, an international cultural event.
Mrs. Drago continued her career at the Cincinnati Ballet where her versatility and dramatic talent continued to excite audiences. Resident choreographer, Dennis Poole, specifically set the leading role of his successful “Nature Scape” ballet on her. Additional principle roles include the Dream Girl in Paul Taylor’s “Company B”, Olympe in Val Caniparoli’s “Lady of the Camelias” and Lila York’s “Rapture”. Dance Magazine praised her “radiance” in Balanchine’s “Jewels”. In celebration of her fourth and final season in Cincinnati, Mrs. Drago was asked to perform Balanchine’s much sought after signature piece “Tchaikovsky Pas de Deux”.
During all her years dancing, Mrs. Drago shared her love for classical ballet by continually teaching, coaching and training the next generation of dancers at schools throughout the states including The Studio in Georgia, the Southwest Virginia Ballet, SEDAC in Alabama, and the prestigious Joffrey Ballet Midwest Summer Workshop. After returning to Miami to start her own family she continues to share her knowledge and love of dance with children of all ages.
